I have not uploaded pictures and have been holding off on posting till I had them, but screw it. The film shoot this weekend was great! It was so quick too. My call time was at 6:30 at a hotel downtown and by 8:30am I was on my way home. The director is Steven Soderbergh, so it was a real treat to get to meet him! Matt Damon was awesome too, although we did not get to talk much. The scene was shot and done before I knew it. I did however get to say "done." We'll see if I even made it into the final picture. According to IMDb, it will not come out till 2009.
My old Pirate tour partner, Jack Finnegan was in town as well this weekend. We walked all over the place and pretty much just had a great time, the three of us, catching up and cracking jokes. I was a treat treat to see him. Plus as an added perk we got to walk him down and see the Biograph Theatre revamped for another film being shot here called Public Enemies. The whole street has been redressed in the 30's and looks incredible.
Lastly, Tiff and I will be moving over to Cornelia on Fri. It will be the first real home we've had since we left LA last Fall. Hell, it will be the first apt we've had with more than 2 doors. Due to a couple cross country moves and gas prices restricting getting things from our folks places, it should be fairly barren for a while. I am hoping to roller skate a lot there, but Tiff frowned when I suggested it.
Pictures will be coming soon!
