Recently my wife and I were able to get back to Chicago for a visit. It was but for a few days but it was a wonderful trip. Chicago had been our home for several years and when a place truly becomes home there is a sentiment there that will never leave you. I've also heard it said when a large city becomes home it has a unique place in your heart. That is certainly the case for the Windy City for us. We love living in Denver now and it was truly good to be home. Being a tourist is tough work.
