It's been a while since updating Stupie. The Colfax marathon has been run and run faster than I've run any marathon before. Beagle Freedom Project has received over $800 from my fund raising and I am quite grateful for the help my friends, family and even strangers offered. I am about to celebrate my first year working at my job. While my position did not exists prior to coming in board, it feels like I have made a good impact. The days are not long enough most days and payday comes without anticipation. The later is amazing having endured under or erratic employment most of my adulthood. I am looking toward the summer with excitement at what can be done. I've signed up to try a few new races including a 200mi. relay and a Muckfest. I will be training to run Chicago's marathon this fall and am feeling motivated to train hard. I will once again be on Team PAWS and excited to return to them to run a race in their city. I will be mixing in the great workouts with November Project, which has not only provided great cross training, but is building a community I am proud to be a part of. They have a positivity I can not get enough of while being focused on pushing me physically.
There's a lot to take in and writing Stupie went back burner. I just felt like I wasn't saying anything all that interesting. While accounting my life is not riveting, I am sure, I enjoy getting the thoughts out. With many influences out trying to pursued, mine is just a story. That's it.
