I am now 5 months smoke free. Well, 5 months and three days to be exact. That is now 3 days over the last effort. Just wanted to drop an update as I heard that the most suspicious behavior is silence where it comes to smoking. I won't lie, as of late there has been a hell of a craving. I am trying to run it out of me.

The first time that I really quit smoking (at age 25), I lasted 5 1/2 months. I found myself turning left instead of right at my train station & came out of a store with a pack. It felt like I was just a robot engaging in a programmed behavior. Those initial cravings are harsh, but those occasional cravings, after you've gone without for a bit, are overwhelming.
I'm still of the smokes, too. Hang tough, my friend.
RUN, YA BASTARD! RUN LIKE THE WIND!!!
Seriously, congratulations for making it this far. Keep it up!
