I am loving finally having weekends! There is such a satisfaction in seeing the end of a workweek where I feel I got a lot accomplished. No more redundant finishing a task just to watch it reemerge the next day. While I have some routine, I feel like I am getting some things done. As an added bonus, in just the few weeks I have been with my new company I have seen strong signs my efforts are paying off. That feels wonderful!
While I love having a couple days off with my wife and the rest of the "normal workweek" crowd, I am quite happy it isn't because I need to be away from my job.
