I went for a run tonight. It's dipped below 10 degrees before the wind chill factor. It sounded like a fun challenge to give it a try. To do so I utilized the following:
- 2x Smartwool socks
- UnderArmor leggings
- UnderArmor pants
- UnderArmor long sleeve base layer
- Rudolph Ramble tech shirt
- UnderArmor Fleece
- Brooks Florescent running fleece
- 2x pairs of gloves
- Ice Breaker hat
- Head sock
- Head lamp
- 1 very sad pair of Asics
To say I felt like the kid in the old Charmin commercials would be pretty accurate. It was fun though and with the exception of my breath freezing on my eyelashes, it was uneventful by way of cold exposure. Plus, I had a whole city park to myself tonight. Not bad.
