I just got in from a post work run. I am absolutely loving having this fantastic park so close by to pound out a few after work miles. I haven't even explored every direction just yet. It is truly refreshing to have multiple options. A couple days ago I tried a new route that took me on a loop of Sports Authority Field. It was fun 7.75 mile lollipop. What made me smile were the similar landmarks to my treasured lake front runs in Chicago. I passed a Ferris Wheel, the aquarium and a pro football field. It's been a lot of fun in our new digs. The other perk is not being the only runner out there. Not one coyote yet.
